Lots to do at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site in Stonewall · See baby bison and longhorns in their game enclosures · Swimming pool open from noon-8:00 pm, except Monday & Tuesday · Great gift shop with lots of unique items, some hand made at the park/farm · Remember, fishing at the state park is free and no license is required if fishing from the banks of the state park · National Park Bus Tours for the LBJ Ranch, Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm, and Texas White House are offered at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. These are two hour tours on a first come first serve bases. We also continue to offer the self guided vehicle CD tour to the public. · Come celebrate our nation’s birthday as a German family and their friends would have done in the early 1900s during the Sauer-Beckmann Farm’s July 4th Celebration. Take part in activities such as horseshow and washer pitching, stick horse races, watermelon seed spitting, and other games.
